Genre Research

Genre 

Me and Laura-Jo came up with 6 genres that we were interested in, and produced a mind map to demonstrate the ideas of artists that we may possibly want to research and use one of their tracks. 

We were both unsure of which genre we wanted to research, so by creating this mind map together, it allowed us to analyse which artists we liked best, and we watched a few of their music videos, to see which style of video we liked most. This helped us decide that we liked the idea of using the alternative rock genre as we were both fans of it, and were interested in the videos which represented the genre.

We created a power point to display the research we have carried out on the genre which we have chosen to look into. This research has given us a clearer understanding of the genre and will allow us to make sure that our video continues to fit into the genre.
